Arkansas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been awarded the Dorothy Huckeby Memorial Award for “Nursing Home of the Year” by the Arkansas Nursing Home Nurses Association!
Founded in 1984, the ANHNA consists of administrators and nurses who dedicate themselves to improving the lives of people living in long term care. This non-profit entity has a board of directors dedicated to providing continuing education to its members by providing quarterly conferences. The ANHNA also recognizes long term care facilities based upon survey reports from the Office of Long Term Care.
Arkansas Nursing and Rehabilitation was named Nursing Home Of the Year based upon survey results and Five Star quality programs. Facility administrator Deanna Prejean accepted the award on behalf of ANRC from Carol Shockley, Director of the Office of Long Term Care on October 17th.
